ASIC have recently announced that fees payable under the Corporations (Fees) Act 2001 and Corporations (Review Fees) Act 2003 will increase each financial year from 1 July 2010 subject to any annual increase in the consumer price index.
The calculation of the fees resulting from indexation is set out in:
- for fees under the Corporations (Fees) Act 2001 - Corporations (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2010 (No. 2) and
- for review fees under the Corporations (Review Fees) Act 2003- Corporations (Review Fees) Amendment Regulations 2010 (No. 1)
I have an opinion on this but have been told by my business partner I am not allowed to share it on our corporate blog…. I guess that says it all. LOL!
