I posted last month on the new indexation of corporations fees. The fees will be indexed each financial year from 1 July based on any increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the March quarter immediately before the start of the next financial year.

March quarter CPI figures released last fortnight have resulted in ASIC fees rising accross the board from 1 July 2010.

We’ll see annual review fees going up to $218 (usually $212) and registration of a private company jumping from $400 up to $412.

You can download the fees applicable before and after 1 July for commonly lodged documents from the ASIC website.

Last year ASIC raised $552 million in fees and charges. The introduction of indexation to corporations fees is expected to deliver an additional $84 million to government over the next 3 years.
