Did you know that a recent report released by MYOB indicated that 60% of SMEs do not have a website and that 68% of the SMEs with a website do not use it for selling the business’ products or services.
When we first launched our main site www.lewistaxation.com.au in July 2007 it contained a tidy little package of just 8 pages. The content has continued to grow and today we have over 200 pages on the main site (that’s excluding the blog). Finding your way around is not as user-friendly as we would like.
Clearly it is time for a new layout and fresh look!
After speaking with Jon and Marnie from Bergan Blue we knew we’d found the perfect team for the job. We’re excited and look forward to launching the new site later next month. For us, maintaining a website that can serve as an information resource and allow plenty of room for growth is a priority – after all, we have lots of promising ideas for the future.
I have to tell you, my pet peeve is looking for a business only to discover they don’t have a website – a single page with contact details or trading hours would do in a pinch.
